PizzaExpress is celebrating the launch of its exciting new look restaurant at Lavender Hill. This spacious, open plan restaurant has been totally transformed, featuring artwork which pays tribute to the famous 1951 film, The Lavender Hill Mob.
Each PizzaExpress restaurant is individually designed – often using well known places, people or historical events from the area as the basis. Artwork, inspired by the colourful original posters and cartoons which promoted the Alec Guinness film, feature throughout the restaurant.
Manager, Pedro Paiva, said, “We have a friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful restaurant over a delicious pizza.”
PizzaExpress has been dishing up fresh, handmade pizza at the Lavender Hill restaurant since 1985. Its latest menu boasts classic Italian style and fashionable flavours as well as a wide range of low-calorie Leggera dishes which contain fewer than 500 calories. There are also gluten-free options and there’s a cheese-free pizza that is suitable for vegans.
