New Youth Mayor team pledge to amplify young voices in Wandsworth

Young people in Wandsworth have elected Abigail Akindeko as Youth Mayor and Afeefa Haroon as Deputy Youth Mayor for 2026/27.

The new Mayor of Wandsworth is Southfields councillor Emmeline Owens.

Wandsworth Town will be one of ten neighbourhoods featured in this year’s London Festival of Architecture (LFA) 2026, running throughout June.  

Wandsworth Council will run its annual series of events to mark Pride Month in June.
